The Sunflower

Renovation

Jamaica Plain, MA

Carved sunflowers on the exterior of an 1875 Victorian on Sumner Hill in Jamaica Plain became the cabinetry motif in the kitchen renovation. Extensive upgrades were made throughout the kitchen including a new walk-in pantry and removing an under-utilized door to the backyard. That area became a bay window with a built-in banquette. Renovations included upgrading HVAC systems as well as millwork in the living room. The front vestibule received a charming making over as well with custom tile and a striking and historic mural.
