Raising the roof on this three-story house in Jamaica Plain and converting sleeping porches into usable square footage allowed for an enlarged master bedroom and bath with a soaking tub. Opening the staircase to the third floor provided access for additional bedrooms, including one with custom bunk beds. Reconfiguring the back-end of the house with a renovated kitchen, mudroom, deck and sunroom addition makes this 1870s home perfect for 21st century living.
